My personal ‘resurrection’
I was looking for a communication route to Yahoo Support service, as I no longer seem able to remove the repeated footers from new messages. I came across two groups I created following the death of AIC founder, +Peter Compton Caputo, when Metropolitan ++Norman Dutton had appointed me Chancellor and Co-Adjutor:
AICWArchbishops and
AICWfriends
so I am writing with a couple of updates.
Firstly, following the abdication of Primus Archbishop +Jorge Rodriguez (who had replaced ++Patricio who had served two terms) and designated that I should be his successor, with the intent of reunification between Anglican Episcopal Church International and AICW. ++Norman created an Instrument of Reunification, that I signed as requested. In October 2013 I was Installed as Primate Archbishop of AICW in the UK, and the following months flew to Port Elizabeth, South Africa to Consecrate two new Bishops, where we continue to see growth.
Secondly, in February of 2014, I was struck down with a range of illnesses that included Pneumonia, Sepsis, Gout, Lumbago, Rheumatoid Arthiritis, Fluid on the Lung and Kidney failure. Hospitalisation and medication (as well as fervent prayer, anointing and Laying-on-of-Hands) failed to achieve any improvement, and I was discharged to the care of my miracle-believing wife, with the hospital anticipating a quick death.
A year later my healing is complete and I give all the glory to God, not only my Saviour and Lord, but my Healer – as well.
Currently I have the task of giving relevance to the AICW in a world of constantly changing values, with NO COMPROMISE on Scripture and our compliance with the Great Commission.
Some of you may have changed your eMail addresses but others may be reading these words and joining Ann and I in giving thanks for His Healing.
This EASTER DAY morning, Ann – she is only a ‘happy snapper’ – took this photo from the 3rd floor terrace of our Javea apartment.
As the sun rose over the horizon, across the Mediterranean Sea from Ibiza, it reminded us of the Cross on which our Saviour was crucified, His blood shed, so that all might have forgiveness, healing and eternal life.
Please accept AICW Easter Greetings for you, your family, clergy and congregation.
